hello , I have not finished writing this one yet, too excited when I know a new portishead album is coming out. but this one is kind of difficult, isnt it?
I don't know if I'm bristol fans, but I love portisead, massive attack and early stuffs of tricky.
I stop listening to Massive Attack when they "break up", I love all their albums when they are together. but the one band i really cant forget is portishead. their music just move you, not just your body but your soul. and the roseland NYC live album is so stunning, I cant believe they can play that, that and that live!
It is sad that Massive Attack already split up and Portishead is the only Bristol beat group left.
At the time of writing, i am listening to Massive Attack Mezzanine - gorgerous stuff even after yearsss! (Gosh... i haven't bought Portishead new album, can you believe this!)
according to allmusic.com, the band is not split yet. but now only 3D is in the band ,and represent as massive attack. I have not listened to his latest work, the 100th windows, I heard its not as good as the old ones.
Mezzanize is a great album. I forgot where is my copy. mine is in digipack, packed with hard paper board. I like the design very very much!
at the moment, I m listening to rachminov concerto no.2 by Ashkenazy. when you get older, you go to city halls more than rock concerts :P
